Developed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), this free app for Android devices (but also available in iPhone and Windows Phone versions) lets you watch BBC programming. It should be noted that this app was designed primarily to be used inside the United Kingdom and that if you like outside those four nations, you may have access to only a limited amount of BBC content unless you pay for the subscription.

The interface is intuitive and easy to use, allowing you to search for your favorite programs. Free content can be downloaded to watch offline.
